Adonna Donovan was a professional trumpet player making her way in the world of orchestral music. Her musical journey was a winding pathway that weaved in and out of various musical groups, teachers, and schools. Adonna even spent time working for Southwest Airlines!
Two weeks after enjoying the pinnacle opportunity of performing with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in New York’s Carnegie Hall, Adonna was on her way to have lunch with a friend and share pictures from the experience. As she was walking to the restaurant, Adonna stumbled and fell. With pictures in her hands, she had no way of catching herself and hit the pavement face first.
