Melissa Slocum has been teaching for 28 years, the past 13 from her own private studio. Her passion is to provide individualized, quality piano lessons in a positive environment. She is the creator of Music Lesson Pathways, a course to help other music teachers LOVE teaching again by using Differentiated Instruction strategies to create musical pathways for their students. Melissa is also the creator and producer of the Podcast, “Sounds of Encouragement” designed to help support and encourage musicians and music teachers.
Seth Thomas holds a Master of Music in piano performance. He is an active piano and voice teacher in the Plano, TX area. He teaches students of all ages and ability levels, and helps to foster a passion for music. His education and experience with the Taubman Approach and Alexander Technique allow him to help his students produce great music, while avoiding fatigue and injury.
Tony Parlapiano is a piano instructor and the creator of popMATICS, a concept-based music curriculum that approaches learning by listening and reading through writing. Tony resides in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, where he enjoys fancy coffee, playing in spreadsheets, and carries a copy of his birth certificate for anyone who questions the authenticity of his last name.
