♫ The single, biggest problem piano parents face with their piano kids is practicing on the days between lessons.
♫ The single, biggest focus of this challenge is to make getting to the piano more fun (aka: make your job easier!).
The Fall Into Music September Practice Challenge (for home or studio) is designed to motivate your piano kids to get to the piano and practice at least 20 days during the month of September. With progress charts, practice buddies, silly selfie social shareables, and more, the Fall Into Music Practice Challenge is just the thing to get your fall semester off to a great start!
The Fall Into Music Kit includes:
Why are tasks and responsibilities more fun when we can mark them off our To-Do list? They just are! Students will enjoy marking their chart each of the 20 days they’ve practiced. This also provides a tangible way for them to know they are learning and improving in their musician skills. Sometimes it’s hard for them to realize how much they are improving as they learn each piece of music.
(Teachers: the studio kit comes with individual practice charts you can print for each student as well as a studio chart to show the progress of all your students. A little friendly competition adds to the excitement!)
Practice is more fun with a friend!
Choose one or all of the loveable practice buddies included with your kit. Your practice buddy sits quietly on the music rack keeping you company during your practice time. After practice, put him in your music book and he will mark your place for the next time you practice.
Knowing that you’re not alone makes any task easier to bear. Unfortunately, most piano practice is an isolated activity. One really fun aspect of this challenge is the ability to check-in with other piano students from around the world to see how they are progressing and what piano practice looks like for them.
The kit comes with adorable props that you can take a selfie with and post on any social media platform. Use the hashtags provided in the kit so other students can see how you’re progressing too!
(Teachers: The Fall Into Music social shareables are a wonderful way to promote your studio in your local community. Ask parents to share or ask their permission for you to share. If nothing else, post these silly selfies on your studio wall!)
When you cross the finish line, you’ve got to celebrate, right?
Once you get all 20 practices completed for this challenge, I think you should have a party or do a victory dance! You can also take a selfie with the Fall Into Music Trophy Poster and share a Boast Post on your social channels. 🙂
(Teachers: the Studio Kit includes certificates you can print for each student who finishes the Fall Into Music Practice Challenge.)
